In 2017, we launched the annual Korn Ferry Employee Engagement Awards to showcase organizations from across the globe with best-in-class levels of employee engagement. We are continuing this journey in our upcoming webinar, where we explore what a highly engaged workplace looks like, and dive into the story of Vodafone, one of the 2017 awards recipients.
In the first part of the webinar, Ben Hubbard, Director Engagement & Culture EMEA, will set the scene by exploring the science behind our awards program, sharing insights from the work environments and cultures of the 34 award winning companies.
During the second part, Ronald Schellekens, Group HR Director at Vodafone plc will share Vodafone’s initiative of enabling a culture of engagement for over 100,000 colleagues in more than 26 countries. Ronald will discuss his own engagement journey since joining Vodafone in 2009 and how their employee value proposition will continue to deliver real competitive advantage.
To conclude the session, Neil Griffiths, Vice President, Global Brand, Marketing and Communications, will share his experiences of working with clients globally to create a strong employer brand to help increase engagement.

Ben Hubbard is an expert in the field of organization surveys, employee engagement and change management. Over the past decade he has acted as a trusted advisor to numerous Global 1,000 companies, where he has embedded innovative employee engagement solutions.
Through tailored ‘voice of the employee’ programs, focused on delivering tangible business outcomes, Ben works with HR leaders and senior executives to develop strategies that strengthen employee engagement, operating effectiveness and customer relationships.
Ronald Schellekens, Group HR director, joined Vodafone and the Executive Committee in January 2009. He is responsible for the Vodafone Human Resource Management function, as well as Health & Safety and Vodafone's Property and Real Estate.
Prior to joining Vodafone, Ronald was executive vice president Human Resources for Royal Dutch Shell Plc’s global downstream business, and has gained many years’ experience working in international senior human resources roles for organizations such as PepsiCo and AT&T.
Neil Griffiths, Global Brand, Marketing & Communications leader, Korn Ferry Futurestep works with clients to develop global or targeted value propositions, as well as creative strategies to attract, engage and retain talent.
With almost 20 years’ experience in the communications industry, Neil was previously the Global Creative Director at Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) where he founded the resourcing communications business, managing employer branding, sourcing and recruitment innovation across a broad client base.
