Setting the right reward strategy in Indonesia

With robust economic growth that is projected to edge higher throughout the year, Indonesia’s reward market is facing a promising future with a growth forecast of 7.5% – more than twice the targeted inflation rate of 3.5%.

GDP is predicted to increase by 5.5% in 2018, raising expectations for businesses in Indonesia to achieve a similar rate of growth. But in order to do so successfully, they will need to focus on acquiring and retaining the right talent.

However, many reward managers are finding it increasingly difficult to retain their employees due to factors such as the influence of the digital economy, and the government’s commitment to ‘Indonesia 4.0’, which are causing disruptions to the reward market (particularly affecting Generation X and Z).

As people look at moving across industries, this competition for talent puts pressure on the job market and creates challenges for HR professionals, particularly around hiring strategies.

Join our local experts as they discuss these opportunities and challenges around reward in the Indonesia market.

Register to discover:

  • The overall economic outlook in Indonesia.
  • How to navigate reward challenges in the Indonesia market.
  • Economic trends and predictions that will impact reward.
