Setting the right reward strategy in China

China has been the hot topic in the global economy for over a decade now. With the rapid pace of change, China's economy, labour, and pay markets have been completely transformed.

While the rate of change may have slowed in recent years, China is still a market where companies need to keep their eye on the ball.

The pay market in China has experienced strong overall increases, with China’s salary forecast predicted to be one of the highest in the APAC region for 2018. However these pay increases and the strength of growth in the economy are not spread evenly across the market.

Some functions and regions are stronger than others – which means companies need to focus on the details of reward, instead of taking a “one size fits all” approach.

Listen to our local experts as they discuss these challenges around reward in the China market.
